GETTING
HERE
By
Air
Air travel is the easiest way to get to Tioman
Island. Berjaya Air provides regular daily flight
from Kuala Lumpur and Singapore. From the Tioman
Airport, sea buses or taxis are easy available.
The journey takes approximately 10 minutes to
Panuba Inn.
By Sea
From Mersing, Tioman Island is just 2 hours journey
by fast ferry or 1.5 hours by speed boat. Regular
daily ferry and speed boat are available from
7am to 7pm daily. Please contact us for the boat
schedules. Don't forget to inform the boat operator
to drop you at Panuba Inn.
From
Singapore, a catamaran service makes the 4.5 hours
journey comfortable and relax. The ferry depart
from the Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal in Singapore
and arrive at Berjaya Jetty at Tioman Island.
From here, you can catch any sea busses or sea
taxis to panuba Inn, which take about another
15 minutes. Please contact us if you wish to pick
up you at the Berjaya Resort or Tioman Airport.
By Car
-From Kuala Lumpur and Johor
Take North-South Highway, head south towards Johor
(from KL or North) and if you’re traveling
from Singapore or Johor Bahru, head north. Exit
at Ayer Hitam (after Yong Peng). Follow signs
to Mersing or Route 3. Approximate traveling time
: 4 hrs from KL and Singapore, 3 hrs from JB.

From Terengganu/Kuantan
Take Route 3(coastal road), heading south towards
JB.

By
Bus
Traveling by bus is the cheapest alternative for
those who are on shoestring budget. Buses from
Johor Bahru to Mersing depart from Larkin Bus
Terminal while in Kuala Lumpur, buses depart from
the Pudu Raya. You may also get a bus to Mersing
from various bus terminal in every states of the
Peninsular Malaysia. All buses will stop at the
R&R Mersing which is about 2 minutes walk
to the jetty to Tioman.
