HOW TO GET THERE
 Pulau
Perhentian is located 21km off the Terengganu
shore and accessible via Kuala Besut jetty.
It takes only 30 minutes by boat to reach
the island. The Kuala Besut jetty is 40
minutes drive from Kota Bharu and 1 hour
15 minutes from Kuala Terengganu and easily
accessible by road and air. There are bus
services to Besut from almost all major
points in Peninsular Malaysia.
By
Air : Air Asia & Malaysian Airline
System (MAS) operates daily flights to Kota
Bharu and Kuala Terengganu from Kuala Lumpur
International Airport (KLIA) and Penang.
From either airport - you can easily get
a taxi or airport limousine to Kuala Besut.
We recommend you take your flight to Kota
Bharu Airport as the journey is shorter
unless you have other agenda.
By Train : You can take a train from
Singapore or Kuala Lumpur and stops at Tanah
Merah. Tanah Merah is one of the stops recomended
as the journey to Kuala Besut is shorter
(approximately 45 minutes journey.) Taxi
and Limousine services are easily available
from Tanah Merah to Kuala Besut jetty.
